Portrait Party

A birthday fashion shoot for your teen and up to 9 of her friends (larger groups possible for an additional fee).  You supply the models and their outfits and we'll take care of the rest.  Each model will receive her own fashion shoot and a complimentary 5 x 7 inch portrait of her choosing.

Girls Night Out Fashion Shoot

Interested in having a fashion shoot as part of a girls night out.  We'd love to host your party.  The Girls Night Out Fashion Shoot is perfect for those holding a cosmetics or lingerie party.  Your $15.00 per model fee covers use of our studio for the party, a fashion session for each model, and a complimentary 8 x 10 inch portrait for each model.  Order additional portraits at 10% off regular Sparkling Moments prices.  Lingerie party participants wishing to have portraits done must be at least 18 years of age.

Glamour Photography

Glamour Photography, in its purest form, is a celebration of the human body and spirit.  Capturing the nude form or creating the illusion of nudity is a practice that has been around as long as photography itself.  As a family-oriented studio, we consider glamour photography an important part of meeting the needs of those we serve.  Just because one is a mother, father, grandmother, or grandfather does not negate one's identity as a man, woman, husband, or wife.  Inquiries surrounding glamour services often involve the celebration and documentation of weight loss, a reaffirmation one's masculinity or femininity, or an experiment in personal growth by challenging one's own comfort zone.  Whatever your motivation, be confident that we are here to answer your questions with respect and to help you meet whatever goal you seek.  Please take a moment to view answers to the frequently asked questions listed below.  Of course, if you have any questions whatsoever, always feel free to contact us by phone or e-mail as well.

Can I meet with you prior to booking a session?

Of course.  We not only welcome the opportunity to meet you, we encourage it.  We are very proud of our studio and the services we offer.   We are always glad to share our enthusiasm with those we serve.  We do not post glamour sample online but can provide examples of options available through an in-studio consultation.   Please call or e-mail to set up a mutually convenient time to meet.  There is no obligation.

What if I get to your studio and lose my nerve?

We take our "Where your experience matters as much as ours" slogan very seriously.  We want everyone who enters our studio to have a positive and stress free experience.  If you change your mind about the type of portrait you wish to have done, please address this with us immediately and without reservation.  We simply love what we do.  It matters not to us if you want a portrait celebrating the human form or you change your mind and decide to wear spandex, covered by long johns, covered by an artic polar suit.  What does matter to us is that you feel comfortable raising concerns at any point so that we can explore options that give you the end product you desire.

Can I have couple shots done of myself and my spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend?

We are happy to create tasteful portraits that capture the special bond between soul mates.

Can I bring a friend or my spouse?

Absolutely.  We ask that anybody who comes along does so for the purpose of making you feel more comfortable.  If a second individual proves to be a distraction to you, you can always ask them to sit in our comfortable waiting area.  If you bring a friend who also wants glamour portraits, a normal sitting fee applies to both of you, but we will grant you both 5% off your final portrait purchase.

I have always been interested in having some glamour portraits done , but I have a particular feature that is too big or two small.  Can you help me?

Part of the professional service for which you are paying involves our experience with manipulating the light and shadows to give you the most pleasing portrait possible.  Please discuss your concerns with us openly so we can work together to evaluate your options.

Is there an age limit?

Yes.  We do not do glamour portraits for anyone under the age of 18.

How do you guarantee confidentiality of my images?

Our glamour services are an exclusion to our normal online ordering process.  After your session, your images are edited and then burned to a CD and maintained in a secure location in our studio.  You are asked to come back to the studio for a consultation to view and select the images you wish to have printed. We do not keep your images on any storage device that we use to connect to the internet thus eliminating the possibility that your shots could be "lifted" from our hard drive.  The printing process is completed by a nationally known and respected professional photography lab located at one of four out of state locations.  If you wish to allow us to use one of your images in our portfolio shown to other prospective glamour session customers, we will grant you 25% off your final order and have you sign a release form.

Who else sees my portraits?

Shawn Roberts (the primary photographer), his business partner, quality control officer, and wife, Sue, and the lab that prints the final images.  Other than that, you are in control of who else gets to see your pictures.  If you wish to allow us to use one of your images in our portfolio shown to other prospective glamour session customers, we will grant you 25% off your final order and have you sign a release form.

What kind of props do you have?

We have a selection of Victorian style furniture, a smoke machine, colored gels for lighting control, and several other small props.  We encourage you to bring your own props or discuss your desires with us and we can see about obtaining the necessary materials.

How does ordering work?

While our online ordering system is one of the things that makes our studio somewhat unique, we do not offer this option for our glamour portraits.  Although we have the capacity for password protected, private galleries, viewing and ordering are done at our studio.  For every security technology in existence, there are talented individuals working to defeat it.  By adopting an offline only viewing and ordering system for glamour portraits, we ensure that your images remain just that - yours.
